The Academy GR ACAS300W Ida Maria Grassi alto sax is a very high level instrument suitable for advanced students and professionals. The material of which it is made is brass with a high percentage of copper to obtain the best sound performance. The mechanics are extremely precise and reactive thanks to the use of blue steel springs and Pisoni pads. The instrument is not lacquered and with a nice bluing to protect it from oxidation. This type of finish leaves the body of the instrument with greater possible vibration and allows for a sound that is very close to vintage instruments. The instrument comes with a nice backpack case with two pockets to hold sheet music and other accessories, cleaning cloth, cork grease, mouthpiece and burnished ligature.
